Micro Center is an American computer department store that was founded in 1979 by two former Radio Shack employees. The first Micro Center store was a 900 sq ft (84 m2). storefront located in the Lane Avenue Shopping Center in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
There are currently 21 Micro Center stores nation-wide in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachussetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia.
