detroit lions new uniformsThe Detroit Lions, new logos or new uniforms or new team or whatever, are hapless. They’re about to pull trigger on Matt Stafford with the No. 1 overall pick, which really seems like a shame.
Because, if you look at these new threads, (which, if you remember, accidentally leaked last month before the official announcement today) it becomes pretty obvious that blood is going to show up really well. Or poorly, depending on your interpretation. Still, at least they’re different! And new! And change might equal us not being the most embarrassing sports team in America in a kitschy way! or something.
Actually, no. Today is a “less embarrassing moment” than going winless, which I suppose counts for something. On the bright side, this Lion is WAY more ferocious than the last one, mainly because it has teeth. And is intense and stuff. So, yeah, let’s go out there and win a game this year, gentlemen.
