You see, Prejean has become somewhat of a Conservative spokesperson since she told Perez Hilton she was against gay marriage during the question/answer segment of the Miss USA pageant, and some believe her controversial answer cost her the crown.
She immediately cashed in on the media blitz that insued by going on the Today Show and defending her answer by saying she was "protecting marriage" and not willing to "compromise" her beliefs.
