Danny Gans, a singer, actor and impressionist who for nearly two decades
was one of the most popular entertainers on the Las Vegas Strip, died suddenly in his sleep Friday. He was 52.Officials at Wynn Resorts, where Gans had performed at the Encore Theater since February, and at The Mirage, where he performed for more than eight years before that, reported that Gans died suddenly in his sleep.
"All of us in The Mirage family are deeply saddened to learn of Danny's passing," Scott Sibella, president of The Mirage, said in a statement released through parent company MGM Mirage Inc. "We all knew of his devotion to his family and our hearts and prayers are with his wife and children."
